SCG Charity – Be More

What we want to achieve

At the heart of our SCG, is a shared commitment to creating positive change. Through our charity initiatives, we aim to support the causes that matter most.

This page is to highlight the impact each individual, and business unit, make through the incredible charity work. Consistently going above and beyond, giving their time and passion to drive meaningful outcomes.

This platform celebrates the difference we’re making collectively, and inspires us to Be More and keep pushing toward our goals.

When we work as one, we unlock the power to achieve remarkable things.

There are many great benefits from participating in charitable activities as it brings a greater sense of purpose and fulfilment, helps reduce stress and improves wellbeing and let’s not forget it helps others!

60@60

SCG Halloween Charity Day

In January 2025, SCG turned 60 years old. To celebrate this milestone, we set a goal to support 60 charity causes throughout the year – 60@60.

All 10 business units from across the UK and South Africa, got involved and strived to hit the target. This not only brought the people of SCG together, but helped over 60 different charity causes.

Employee engagement

Employee engagement

After launching our ‘60@60’ initiative, SCG wanted to encourage as many employees to collectively engage in 60 charity initiatives throughout the year. We reached the target and will continue to encourage employees and business units to get involved with as many charities as they can.

SCG’s CSR

By supporting different charities, entirely employee-nominated, Shine enables us to elevate the success of these events and then highlight these accomplishments to the Group to increase momentum further.
